It's so nice to see them put some weight on. The other one that was of the same size at time of purchase is still in a 15g at the LFS with female bettas and not nearly as big now. He loves asparagus. Such a pokey poke.

RD, you are the main reason I decided to take him in. If it takes 5 years to hit 15", that's great because that's also the time line for buying our house and finally doing the 1000 gallon tank. That should keep me happy for at least a good ten years.
He's already grown a lot on mixed pellets and asparagus.
I will update as he adds spots to his pectoral rays. He's about to sprout the fourth dot. So soon, so soon.
