bought new adonis under 2" in 20 gallon growout till its not food size for others how long will it take to get some size on my baby giant.

I got mine at about 2", it grew to about 5 or 6"(maybe a little less) in the first year. He stayed at this growth rate until about 9 or 10" at 2 years. I sold mine at around 11". He still had all or his spots and tail streamers that looked around 3". I have been told growth rate varies greatly depending on feeding, water quality, and tank size

My first one hit 10" in a year. My new one is growing about an inch per month as well.

My 4 grow at about an inch a month. The 8" SL growth is slowing down to about 1/2" per month.
