New African Brown Knife

So today I went to the LFS with every intent of taking home a Yellow tail freshwater Barracuda. But came to find that the two that had arrived acouple days ago had both died. But as I walked threw an looked at the other tanks, I noticed a African Brown Knife in a tank with 5-10 Australian rainbow fish. He looked happy an healthy, so I snatched him up.

heres a few pics I was able to get. I had to use the force an take in the dark cause he wouldnt come out of hiding. I think there pretty good.

wow he is a beautiful knife.. looks well fed and healthy too.. good luck with him and let us hear all about him.. when he settles in.. :D They are very nice pictures.. he is just shy yet.. it will take a week or so to feel comfortable.. he is soooo cute!
 
Thanks, he was lighter colored at the LFS, but I think he was there for awhile an all the tanks there have a light blue background. While now hes prolly a lil bit stressed an the tank hes in now has a black background.

yes just the move would be stressful.. he will be fine though.. i really like him.. he is awesome.:D
 
try hand feeding him in awhile, i just got mine a week or 2 ago and i tried it yesterday using FD krill, he took it right from my fingers. (he really only ate a little of it so i hand fed the rest to my bichir.)

These guys are cool knives! I like them a lot.
