I picked up a beatufiul 4 inch albino silver arowana from global fish co and i wanted to know what are the best foods to feed it and growth rate thanks

Shout out to global fish co for being a great store with friendly staff

Floating Hikari food sticks....

75g for a little bit, prolly a 8’x2’ eventually....

Please please please say you got a bigger tank coming up in the next year or so. A 8*3*3 seems to be the minimum tank size for these stunning fish and it seems like you only have a 75 gallon at the moment. These guys will get to around a foot in around a year from my own research and seeing larger ones getting returned back into my lfs, but I haven't owned one myself yet.
I don't know right now of any foods for them but I would agree on dr exum.

So..... you already have a silver arowana
then you go out and buy an albino silver arowana and your biggest tank you have right now is a 75 gallon?
Actually, post a picture of the albino silver arowana.

Ok..... Let's assume you actually do get the 180.... When are you going to upgrade next? What size will it be?
I still want to see the picture of the albino silver arowana.

Not enough. They grow pretty quick for the 1st 20" or so. The 180 will be obsolete by black Friday next year.

Next black Friday get a 380! Oh man yeah that's the ticket!

Thank you for saying this as I do not have the experience neccesary to have ground to say that.

Carter, I reccomend giving both arowana back. If you can't then I'm sure someone here would buy them.

This is from my personal experience. On impulse bought a 4+inch Silver Arowana. Put Aro in a 29 gal. after about 2 months moved to a 55 gal. A bit over 2 months Aro was moved to 180 gal. When the Silver Arowana grew to around 14 inches the 180 started to look small. Unfortunately the Arowana jumped out and died. I was disappointed but came to the reality of how fast the Aro was growing. A bigger aquarium was not a option. My next thought was who would take the Aro. I finally came to the conclusion that the Silver Arowana should and deserves to be a specie only for Public Aquarium's. Everyone should go to their Public Aquarium and see how large Silver Arowana can get.
