Thanks! Only about 7 1/2 inches - just got him this morning - very, very active compared to the other one. (My other one is a lump, and is about 20 inches.) Already ate a worm - about 1/2 hour into the tank. Didn't miss a beat.
Nice. What are you planning on house it in once it gets bigger

He went right into my 53 gallon half-circle tank for now - then a 75, then my other 300, and then a pond.
Congrats on this monster! Looking nice and fat looks like doesn't miss a beat when it comes to food. Would love to see more pics of his growth rate! Good luck with this monster!

Thankfully, not as fast as the RTC, but then again, I certainly don't allow them to pig out like most people who have RTC's do. (Based on all the threads on here. I've never had a RTC.) I have no desire to test out that theory
