i can understand not researching every gar species, but seriously, in this day and age and with that much info at one's disposal, i don't see how it isn't common knowledge on a predatory fish forum that alligator gars will grow very fast. people who don't know this ahead of time should not be keeping them. although i'm posting it in this thread, it's not meant to be personal or thread-specific...it's apparently a systemic problem we are seeing here.

Mine went from 3" to 25 in 6 months so yes ey grow quite quick. A rtc which is known for it's amazing growth rate does about 2" a month. My alligator gar does 3.6" a month so be ready
