The larger one is actually closer to 5" and the other about 3 1/2" but I was trying to stay modest. Are these to young to sex? Also what character traits can be visually noticed to determine the differences in sex if any at all?

I got them last week but they were at another members house until tank space was cleared up. That being said I have actually had them for about 3 days now, so they are still a little stressed. When I approach the tank they drift to the back but after a couple minutes they come right to the front and check me out as I check them out. I guess you can say we are all still getting to know each other. These 2 are in a 40g breeder for now but in a week or 2 they will be put in a 135g.

I really like Lyonsi one of my favorites and fish like yours is why. Good Luck with them,
 
I don't have input on gender of either, but I really like the looks of them! The do look much larger than advertised, but pictures tend to do that.
