i used "Gila -Heat shield 5% VLT window tint" and Gila window film application solution to apply it. on the outside of my short term grow out tank and it turned out a whole lot better than i expect. i did the back and two sides and i love it. here are some pics. i hope they arent too big. you can get this stuff at autozone napa whereever car parts are sold. enjoy:popcorn:

Nice ingenuity!!! Great Job

Thanks:naughty: I was just tired of the plain jane backgrounds you get at the store and how they dont exactly stay attached all the way across on the back. well mine didnt. so i thought of this and tried it and well thats the result. im gonna do the same on the 55 gal thats in the other room. the gold saum and the two senegals seem to like the extra "cover"

I guess it looks good. I can't see any thing but the stuff inside the tank and the seams. So job well done

it took me about 15-20 minuets. the stuff is cheap too. 10 bucks at my local autozone for a roll 24"x 6.5'. just take your time cutting it out. jagged edges are bad lol.
