Hi,
I just happened to stumble onto this forum and am glad to be here. I visit regularly the Fish Channel, Loaches Online, and Piranha Forums. I'll now add this to my regular activities.
I have taken many pictures over my life (51 years) but none as challenging as my fish through the glass and water, with screwy lighting, and fast darting fish. I am envious of those capable of capturing the beauty of these creatures.
I have always used a 35MM SLR and most recently when my wife's cheap digital camera broke, went out and purchased an entry level digital SLR. I am using a Nikon D40. It takes far superior pictures to the clunky digital we had and blows away my cell phone
. I just hope I can capture with it whats in my tanks.
With that said I look forward to reading, watching, and learning from you all.
