Picked this guy up today. Was sold as albino, but I'm not so sure. To me at least seems like too much dark pigment. Anyone got any thoughts? Thanks :)uploadfromtaptalk1373663848789.jpg

All the albinos Ive seen before have a lot of pink in them. Thats why i went for this one, looked a little different. Of course it could all change as it grows. I cant rightly tell if his eye is pink or black either... Sometime it looks red, sometimes black...

He looks like a cross between an albino and regular oscar. Oscars are really cool. A lot of people say they are really aggressive but I only see it at feeding time. They eat anything and all the ones I have had have left their tank mates alone unless they could be eaten whole.

your right about eating anything... I thought I was gonna lose him within hours of getting him, he almost choked on a whole algae wafer whilst already choking on a bit of shrimp too big for him lol

I've kept Oscars for about 15 years. There's just something about them I really like. Over the years I've had some pretty good sized ones and they've all been peaceful--until I got this biotch I have now! Lol. She won't tolerate other oscars(has killed 2 in a 240) and is now at the point that she will actually attack my hand if I get too close to her normal hangout spot in the corner of her tank. Totally uncharacteristic of an Oscar. But she does great with other cichlids and maintains some peace in the tank with her tankmates.
