well, i couldnt resist this guy........some sort or Mormyrus Sp., i was hoping some one could id him. hes not shy at all, he almost bever goes in his log.

im in maryland......3000 miles from cali where i live..... staying with family, so i quickly set up 13 gallon tank (24"x12"x11") they had in the garage with a AC300 for filtration (overfiltering rocks), looks prety good for being in a rush. Mr. Mormyrus is gonna live here and bulk up till spring when i can come get him.........right now hes too small to go in with my big boys in the 100 gallon........hes only like 4-5"s

hes soooo freindly its weird.. all my past mormyrids hid all day, this guy hasnt hid for longer then 2 minutes at a time.......
sorry fir the horrible pics, im using a caamera im not familair with and its frusterating....


any idea as to his species?

thanx, cant wait till spring when i get to bring him home :)

gonna try him on frozen blooworms tommarow before my flight, hopefully he takes them and saves everyone a major headache.............
 
the sand is some sort of gravel petsamrt is sellin,

i really like him, but now im 3000 miles away and have to hope my idiot familly doesnt kill it:( :ROFL:

but its better than nuthing right?
