Hi guys, We are new to the site and would usually spend hours looking through posts and links before posting questions but I feel my starlet may not be long for this world?!
We brought two sterlet's about 2-3 weeks ago and I would say they are about 15cm long. one is fine and is happily swimming round, the other (slightly smaller one) cant seem to drive and is therefore swimming around the top desperately trying every now and again to submerge back to the depths. we have tried "winding it" as advised from another site (reading through problem pages) although one maybe two bubbles did come out he is still having the problem. My husband has said that he feels bloated? he is currently also spending most of his time on his back. We really want to do all we can for him and hopefully save the poor little thing so any advice would be great.
we are in the UK our pond is 14ft long by 6.6ft wide and 3ft deep, we have two filters which are plenty big enough for the pond but we are airing on caution and will be getting further air stones/pumps to ensure the oxygen levels are higher.
Any information help would be greatly appreciated
Gemma and Simon
