i have a few tanks. but they are freshwater or brackish water tanks..i havent tried saltwater but i would like to find a shark maybe a bamboo or something i can keep in a 105 gallon tank.. something hardy beings i dont have experence in salt water...any advice will be great.. i have 9 RBPin a 50 and 2 oscars in a 45 and a 55 gallon community tank with 2 angels 3 irredesent sharks and a few other fish...and i have 3 cichlids i am going to post later for ppl to help me identify..plus i have 2 great big pacu one medium pacu and a gar.......

they where in there but i had to repair my tank but they will go back.. im tring to get rid of them i had 3 but one died when the tank lost water and he was transfered to a smaller temporary tank.. the 2 i have are a foot or more in length..i paid 50.$ for them from my cousin who said they where black piranha.. i thought that he was wrong but bought them anyway..

First thing I would do is get rid of the pacus and Iri sharks and put the two oscars in the 105g. I don't wanna should harsh but you need to re-think what your doing with your freshwater tanks before you consider a shark or saltwater for that matter. I don't think you should house any shark species in a tank that size anyway.

i was thinking of putting my piranha's in the 105 gal but i would love to have a shark. the 105 gal tank is a big box shape i thought it could house a bamboo shark or one of the smaller species shark..i was hoping to find an egg or a baby bamboo beings they only get about 3.5 feet long full grown... i even found a site that said a bamboo shark can be housed in a 75 gal..i know that cant be true but someonet thinks so.. the 2 oscars are still pretty little and they have there own 45 gal tank for now..there new home might be a 55 or 75 gal..

Hi borecpl, not to be a pain but this probably should be in the saltwater/brackish forum.
