My name is Dan and I joined a couple weeks ago and havent posted yet. So far this is the best fish forum i have found and had a ton of great info and people on here. I am on my 4th tank currently and it is a 100 gallon acrylic. It is a steppin stone until i can get my own place and a large tank of my own. I have a 5 inch Jardini Arowana, two silver dollars, couple pink convicts, and pleco in this tank. I have a second breeding tank of the pink convicts that i use to feed my arowana, among other things.

The next thing for the tank is a stingray, i am either going to go motoro or retic. havent decided yet and it is all on personal opinion to me.

Out side of fish and aquariums i work at a local fish store and am into cars. I am in the middle of switching cars again and selling my motorcycle that i bought two months ago.

here are a couple pictures of my fish tank, let me know what you think and any suggestions is always cool.

:welcome:

A retic will last longer in that tank, but if a motoro is what you want a motoro you will get:D That's a great tank to get one started!!

Glad to have you aboard! It seems like you'll fit right in here.

Welcome and Howdy! Now are you from washington with the Mariners, Sonics, and Seahawks?

Welcome to Monster Fish Keepers.com! Nice tank!

Welcome!!! I'm from WA. to Everett to be exact. Nice Jardini, where did you get it i'm lookin for a small one too?

i went down to china town in seattle. they have the best selection for fish down there. 3 shops down there to check out all within walking distance of eachother. Kings discus, QT aquariums, and another shop that i forget the name of at the moment but it is down by the washington credit union or something like that.

The floating things are japanese floating glass balls. They were found on the beach in oregon and i soaked them for a couple days changing out the water every day so the salt would go away. no problems yet but to get them to stay suspended like that i had to get pvc pipe and fill it with lead weight for fish line and seal it up. turned out pretty good IMHO.

THankyou all for the compliments on the tank. i have more decoration to do as well as taking out the sub and vas to accomodate more room for the stingray that will hopefully be in this coming monday. 1 month of waiting so far.
