Hi all, after months of searching, finall got my hands on this handsome specimen. His claspers which are around 0.4cm long are quite large for his size (around 12cm). Currently keeping him in a small tank with some large tetras, water parameters are as follows:
pH:7
NO2-: next to 0mg/L
NO3-:<50mg/L
He only finds intrest in LIVE ghost shrimps, not dead ones and nothing else which is driving me crazy. Luckly there is a man-made pond near where I live and I can collect small amounts of these shrimp for him there.

I would like to take the chance to apologize for my latest thread also for it has made a number of members unhappy. I wasn't expecting such a response till I read the replies, somehow I just don't find it that disgusting. Maybe it's just me and how I like to post threads concerning different aspects of rays, for example the time I posted pics of ray stingers and that other time I posted pics of unhealthy ray faeces. But now that I've come to realize, I apologize for my actions and will be more careful about what I post up in this forum in the future. Hope you can accept my appology.:)

Great looking ray any shots of the the tail? Don't worry about the post I think most people found it informative but were just adding a little humour. Not offensive to me at all.

It's tail is broken... well I guess it's inevitable sometimes...So now I have a pair of "not so antenna" antenna rays. Hope they breed someday, I don't think they have been captive bred before.
Well there were quite a few complaints...
thanx!

Beautiful ray!!
Can't wait to see more pics!

If someone was offended by your last post they need to grow up.
It is the same as when people post pictures of their rays feces.
The only difference is the maturity of who is looking.

Anyways....
I was curious about what ray skeet looked like. I feel somewhat completed now.
Thanks ^^

that was actually what contains the "skeet", they have sperm sacks and that was the outside of it, it most likly broke apart when they mated and she pushed that out
