New Aquariast Needs Your Help Identifying A Freshwater Angelfish,PLEASE!!

Hello,
My son & I are new aquarium keepers. We are enthusiastic about it and so far have decided upon Angelfish, Tetra's and Cichlids as being our favorites. Please forgive the differentiation between Angelfish & Cichlids, as I realize they are in the same family. We recently aquired a small white angelfish with unusual eyes. I am uncertain if it is a dime size platiumn or ?? It has black retina's & the rest of the eye is a lovely sky blue color. He has regular fins, not veiled. I'm not quite sure what to make of this little "fellow". I would appreciate any input from other members as I am unable to find information about freshwater blue eyed angelfish. Thank you in advance!

Sounds like a platinum but pictures would be needed for a certain ID.

Jamesy, thank you for your reply & I will try to get a photo this evening. I was thinking too that this might be a platinum, but the blue eyes have me puzzled. I can't seem to find any information about blue eyed angel fish other than saltwater. Have you seen this before?

I'm sorry your dad doesn't like fish...I'm actually my sons MOM..lol... So, you never know..your mother might be interested in fish & just not know it,,like in our case. Suggest she help you start an aquarium & find out. Through trial & error, & studying about the breeds you like, as my son & I did, you might discover that one or both of your parents will enjoy sharing this hobby with you. Best of luck!
