Hi All:

I am new to this forum and I wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying learning about fish photography! I am an Arkansas college teacher and ichthyolgist who is only a poor photographer. Hopefully, I can learn how to take some fish shots like I see in this forum. The photos are absolutely gorgeous! A friend gave me a pair of guppies when I was 12 and the female had 28 babies that night and I have been hooked ever since!

Again, I am so happy to have found this fish photography forum and I am looking forward to learning from you all.

I am a freshwater ichthyologist specializing in native fishes of Arkansas and Oklahoma fishes. I have written two books previously about fishes of these regions (Fishes of Arkansas - UA Press and Fishes of Oklahoma - OU Press). Unfortunately, I need a lot of help with my photography, so I am really enjoying seeing the beautiful photos on APF.

Again, I am excited to be a member of the APF.
