new aro & diet

I'm thinking of buying an aro - my first, what does their diet consist of at 3 to 4 in

if you can, get them on pellets, krill, chopped shrimp, beefheart, bloodworms, black worms, and maybe even some brine shrimp.

Pretty much anything huh. What about powerheads to aro's like current?

it is better not to have any powerheads..arowana loves slow moving to stagnant water. if you are feeding your aro with prawns..be sure to remove the shells...it may hurt the aro's stomach and intestines..

for that size 3-4in he can give him pellet, krill and bloodworms. as for the powerhead, it will be better to avoid the powerful ones for such small aro as freak accidents do happens.

try to feed him pellets while his small, try a variety of foods like shrimps, smelts and muscles

yeah watch the big current and suction of intakes with smaller aros i have lost two to being stuck to an intake screen i was pissed
