I finally saved up enough cash to order my first aro. I ordered an 8'' wild silver aro through snookn21. I went to the semi-local lfs today excited as ever cause last time I went they had nice 8'' aro's for $49. Now they want $79 for a little 5''er. I asked if they were wild....no. This lfs used to be cool. But this time I went in and was pretty disgusted. A good fat 18'' rtc in a 20 0r 30g tank....wtf? He atleast used to be in a 55..lol! Two large oscars over 12'' and fat in a 55g. One had tail rot and gill curl..bout to die, barely breathing. And the other wasnt in such bad shape...but not good shape. Used to be a nice shop.....wont be gettin my buisness anymore w/ such poor fish placement and the outrageous prices.
So I ordered my aro through a mfk'er w/ a good rep. Jonh(snookn21) has excellent customer service and is on top of it. I just placed my second fish order through him and cant wait for its arrival.
