hi everyone here i have a silver arowana i picked up last month, so hes fairly new. and his tank mate is a rainbow fish i adopted from a petsmart associate. will these two fish get along when the arowana gets bigger or should i do something now to prevent anything bad from happening? right now the rainbow just follows the arowana everywhere it goes almost like best friends. tell me what you think. heres a video.

hes about 6-7 inches right now. for now i do trust him only because there is no aggression at all. but one sign ill probably movie the rainbow.

Eventually the arowana will get big enough to eat the rainbow, doesnt mean he will. I've kept plenty of smaller bite sized fish with my arowana. Some live in harmony, some disappear rather quickly. Giant danios and congo tetras are sure to be eaten, but most others I've tried are fine.

Alright cool maybe when it grows a few inches ill put the rainbow fish into a 20 gallon. Then Ill have to move the arowana in a bigger tank as well. Thanks
