I purchased my first Arowana (3-4inches) about 2 weeks ago. The best I can tell an arowana that size needs to eat 3xday. I have been attempting to feed 2xday due working 10hr shifts with over an hour each way commute each way. However the Arowana seems to have no interest in eating in the morning however he is very aggressive and eats multi small pieces of tilapia that I feed my stingray in the evening feeding. Should I be concerned about him getting enough to eat or will once a day be sufficient. Current homed with 2 Jack, 1 Rec Stingray and 2 angle fish in a 125 gallon grow out tank. I have a 610 gallon ordered.

You should be ok, can't force feed a fish in any event. Mine eats twice a day but eats far more at night than in the morning.

i dont think he like eating pellets or fish food yet. i drop a few carnivore stick in my jardini and they just ignore it but when i drop raw shrimps in there they go crazy for it. im trying to home 3 jardini together right now in a 120g. i have a pond for it later. but right now im just trying to see if they can grow up together without fighting. all 3 of them are around 5.5"

As long as he's eating theres no problem , aros take time to settle into new environment's and can be shy feeders at first but make up for it once settled in ;) , he won't starve to death as long as foods going in

very. arowana are really shy when they enter new environments. it take time for them to settled in and feel comfy then they will start eating. but if u worry too much just throw some small crickets in there.
