hey all..i am the guy that was asking for help with my two new arow's ..they are still recovering and i hope and pray they make it..after they get aquainted with there new home any suggestions on tank gravel or wood or plants...right now its just the fish in a 125 gallon nuthing else...dont wanna crowd them with crap in the tank or get a build up of waste due to rock etc...any suggestions thank you kel

i just have about 3/4" of gravel in the bottom of my aro tank. i also have a lilly for him to swim in and around. just try not to crowd him and allow him as much free swimming space as possible. good luck

decors/substrate for arrowana is really a personal perference. whether you put a small layer or big layer, it really makes no difference to them since they are top swimmers.

the only thing i would suggest again is something sharp they can swim into and hurt themselves cause they are pretty jumpy.

since ur 2 arrows are still recovering, just wait till they are settled in before you start messing with the tank and adding more stress to them.

I always go bare bottom with some rocks and wood...

As long as you give maximum swimming room, the decor is up to you. Remember though the more decor, the more work for cleaning.

I just got a Black aro today, it is going to be in a tank with plants and driftwood. I am moving my Silver to a tank that will just have a thin layer of gravel with no decor.
