Hi all

This stunning fish is about 7" from snout to BASE of the tail.
Purchased from a retail outlet not far from me here in Sunny London taaaaawwnnnnn (Town)!
Great fish. Sits upright on it's fin, facing the flow but also swims around allot looking for food.
Cant really comment on it's temperament as Its kept virtually alone at present in a 125 Gallon along with a small 4" Plec.
Would imagine that is very similar to other Brachyplatystoma in that it is relatively territoral & generally ok with other Big Cats, slow moving fish etc but NOT tolerant of other Brachy species such as Jurense, Tigs etc.
Must say it is quite jumpy so wouldn't wish to keep it with any other fish, other than slow moving or peaceful species.
Currently only accepting Live food such as River shrimps & large Earthworms but will wean it onto frozen & pellets eventually / hopefully!
Rob

Around 90cm in the wild so yes a very big fish.
Will need plenty of space too because they are quite jumpy and can swim at great speeds when they need too.
