After waiting for a few weeks I finally picked up a fish that i've wanted since seeing pictures of one years and years ago, a super red arowana. Many thanks to george aka pufferxtreme for finding this amazing fish for me. It is massive. Around 22", very thick set and about 3yrs old. Settling in at the moment and it'll take time as it's come from very different water parameters to mine in ph and hardness and also it has been on it's own in a tiny tank and now it finds itself in a big community. my big widebar is showing it who's boss at the moment so it's yet to grace me with it's beauty in full flight and so i'll reserve taking many pics til it has fully settled but thought i'd give you this teaser to show you just how good the colour is. It really does take my breath away just how red it is and this is just hours after entering the tank.
