New at planting...

Ok, so i am not sure if i need to add supplements or anything to the water, right now i have one large bamboo, an onion, and some other plants that i cant remember the names of. I dont have a CO2 dispenser or anything but should i buy the plant supplements?

Plant supplements are fine to add. You don't need the CO2 injection unless your lighting is very high which could only encourage the algae to outcompete the plants easily. CO2 injection is often used for the primary reason being it allows the plants to grow quickly and even outcompete the algae for nutrients.
