Most people will tell you no, but I would have to disagree. If you have enough filtration and you can keep up with their waste, they will thrive. If you have bad water conditions, they will die just like any other ray. I personally think they have a better personality than the S.A. Rays. Last two I had for three months and I could hand feed and pet them. They woud come right up to the top when anyone came to the pond. Just like a little puppy.
