Stopped in at a LFS, to check out rainbows or angels to fill out the rest of my tank. My experience in Ohio fish stores has been that no one has polypterus other than your basic senegals and a few very small Delhezi. I seen a tank down at the end of the row that was labeled "Bichir Palmus". Turns out to be a Lapradei 
about 4-6" estimate. Has two different eyes his one eye looks just like a rattlesnake eye with the small slit type and the other is normal, like the picture.
