New Babies

Convicts had babies. I know this is really no big deal with convicts, but
I wanted to share.

They will ultimately be feeders for my Dovii and other cichlids.

the evolution of the Convict..........

1] act like you are 10x the size you really are and beat up everything

2] beat up eachother bc you want to breed

3] breed like rabbits and send all your babies off to become FOOD

4] repeat steps 1-3

congratulations on the spawn and the future feeders. hey, even though cons are the easiest fish to spawn it's still cool when they do.

I bought a pair of 2" originals, they didn't bred, so I gave them to the lfs. 2 monthes later, the exact pair has a cloud of 50 fry

I'll never forget my first experience with convicts. I bought a pair and put them into a 10g loaded with fine gravel and sponge filter. I paid them no mind really, just fed regularly. I went to Europe for a summer and when I came back, I had HUNDREDS of convict fry.
