New baby arowana

Officially a part of the arowana crew. Just got a baby bout 2 inches. 35$ Probably over priced, but I rarely see them at my lfs. Right now I have him in a 10 gallon filled with plants and mosquito fish. He already tries to eat crushed pellet food. Not shy or timid. If he keeps eating flake food and dried foods I think once he's a little bigger I'll just toss him in the 125. If not ill put him in the 55 gallon.
 
Congratulations enjoy watching him grow.
 
i get them from the pet store and yea they float. I just tryed to feed him one but he seems more interested in the giant soggy pellets he cant even come close to swallowing.

Its a good thing Aro is interested in the pellets, most Aro's ignore pellets when their that size .:)

You can buy a small container of freeze dried bloodworms real cheap at petmountain.com I just got myself a baby arowana too he is currently 3.5 inches eating everything I throw in and the funny thing is I put my arowana in a 10 gallon with plants and mosquito fish too until he grows a little bit so I can put him with my golden clown knife in my 210 gallon tank
