My managuense pair had a successful run for the first time, I'm a little unsure as to when I should start feeding. I can still see what appears to egg sacks on the babies. Though they aren't totally free swimming yet. Hoping for a little insight as to when I should drop them some baby brine shrimp. Thanks in advance

Congratulations on the spawn Tyler, I usually start them off buy crushing some pellets up and adding a few drops of water to it making a paste , ball this into tiny balls and drop it next to the fry , as it breaks up they love feasting on it ;)
Its pretty much like making ground bait used for carp fishing that's where I got the idea but on a tiny scale.
once they are swimming confidently I start trying alternative foods.
That's just my way of doing things I'm sure there's loads of others doing different things , see what pops does he's always got a successful jag pair with fry a plenty

i use crushed pellets when they become free swimmers, I use an old electric coffee grinder, make sure you have pre-filter socks on your intakes or they will get sucked up into them, and the fry will feed off them.

Grats, on the spawn, do not be surprised if they eat them in a few days, its normal for first spawn.

^^ good shout on the intakes pops I forgot to mention that , my fx still sucks them into the mesh and I still lose a lot that way

ya i use biggish sponges, run a knife down the middle to make a pocket and slip em on, they do not to be cleaned once a week,

I used a pair of the Mrs tights/stockings last time doubled up but it still gets fry stuck to it so sponge will prob be better Tyler
