I went to the lfs on sat to get glass tops for my 125 and 90 that are under construction and happened to notice that they had a Jardini. I just couldn't pass it up, they are somewhat hard to come by around me, it was $40. He is in my 55 alone, he's about 4", eating great and quite active. He will be moved into the 125 as soon as it is running and cycled. Im feeding him blood worms now, they only question i have is what is the best feeding frequency and amount. I will get pics asap.

Thanks

congrats on the purchase, farther down the road though, you may want to put him in a wider tank, perfeabley 24" wide, but you have quiet a ways before that, does he have any tankmates?

Thanks for the info, I had an idea thats about what the answer would be, but I would rather have a wiser opinion. He will def get a bigger tank in the future. Thanks for the help. Any and all other tips, hints, etc. are welcome.

You can always throw in some feeders fish for this little fella to chase around and hunt. Or you can train it to accept shrimps which we eat.

I was thinking about trying some shrimp, and an occasional feeder. The guy at the lfs said he was giving it a few feeder guppies a week. Looks like I need to set my other 10 gal up to quaritine some feeders! I saw some shrimp at the store that were refered to as salad shrip. They are about the size of a half dollar, would these work ok? Less cutting up into small bits.
