new baby ornate with deformed fin

just got in my new ornate about 2 1/2 to 3" long and it is eating well but has a deformed pectoral fin. its stunted and curls under the fish. it came from liveaquaria.com i have sent them a pic in an email and am awaiting a reply. anyone have any experience with this before? i wouldnt really care except first i got an ornate for its asthetic appeal and this takes away plus i paid about 98$ after having it shipped. kinda bummed but still a gorgeous fish.

Yeah it kinda sucks not getting what you paid for but birchirs are great regardless. I say keep him and call him Nemo.

I would also contact the vendor maybe request a partial refund.

I sent some pics of the fin to them and they say they will have another shipped at no cost so that is cool. i hope it is a nice one and i guess i'll have 2 now. its supposed to arrive friday so we will see.
 
got the new one in and it is very nice looking. both are eating good the first day so iguess it worked out pretty good ill just keep them both and have 2 ornates and 2 senegals.
 
Just maybe the deformed one is the good luck charm of your tank. I congrats on the 2 new ornates.
