New baby Peacock bass

I have a baby pbass at most he is 2" he is on a diet of frozen bloodworms 2 times per day the temp of the tank is 84* it is a 29 gallon (growout!) i have had him for 4-6 weeks and he hasn't grown at all do pbass have growth spurts if so when will my p bass start to grow?

They do usually grow in spurts, but in 4-6 weeks it should of grown even if just a little. From what i've read, check your water perameters. The better the water conditions the quicker it should grow. Probably change its diet up a bit too.
 
at that size it should be growing fast. check your parameters. if its possible, you should try to move it to one of your bigger tanks. use a divider. the increased stability might make it grow faster.
 
As of now it is with 7 other large angel fish Dont worry he cant swallow them ammonia is 0ppm ph is 7.1 nitrate is 0
 
I usually feed my Pbass some FD Shrimp. They seem to only grow when I feed live feeders. I give them feeder guppies about once a month.
 
I have 5 baby peacocks and they are growing like crazy!! getting ready to upgrade the tank from a 40g to a 60g.. the think the tank has to be stable and you need to pump feed. I am feeding them a steady diet of blood worms and gold fish.. they eat non-stop!!!! I practically see them grow week by week...
