New Baby Rats

I've had rats for pets since I was a kid and my kids grew up with them, too. Great little critters 
We lost our last one a few months ago so I don't imagine it'll be long before we get another one.
We lost our last one a few months ago so I don't imagine it'll be long before we get another one.I used to only think of them as feeders, but after working at a pet store, I've really come to appreciate them as pets themselves. I really don't understand why when people get a pet rodent, they immediately think hamster. IME, rats are much nicer pets and much hardier. Working with maybe 100 hamsters, I can't even imagine trying to count how many times they bit or tried to bite me, but working with several hundred rats, I can probably count on one hand the times I got bit (if you don't count nursing mothers

Ya, I know, we lost our last one a week ago, it was rough, but now we have two new ones.
Soooo cute. i woulda been impulse buy for me for sure ^^ ... and no, i do not feed mice to my fish. Used to have a small mouse and a guinea pig (lived for 7+ years).
I suppose rat gets bigger than a mouse? What's the max size? The mouse i was like the one in Green Mile (no more than 5").
Is it possible to train a rat to go to toilet in designated place?

Yes rats get bigger than mice, and they don't smell as bad as mice either. All of our rats have been extremely clean animals. We have only had female rats, they get about 7-8" without the tail, I think the males get larger then that. Oh, and all of ours have been trained to use a litter box, and they do use it most of the time.
