New baby rtc. Dream come true (or nightmare haha)

I've recently moved to California from Australia and never seen a redtail catfish there. Always wanted a real monster predator tank with one of these guys, so I bought this little beauty, he's in a 65g for now with a spotted pike characin until he outgrows it (then the fun begins.)

Haha...A+ on humor
at the moment the characin is double the rtc size and I'm trying to fatten him up. Will sort something else out as soon as the cat's caught up in size.

Great. Good luck with it! Sounds like you know what you are doing and have done your research. Taksan's (a member on here) pair was ~4' each and lived to 27 years.
