Yarelli are the monsters, the other sub species stay relatively small.

Looks like Suchus to me
They are slow-med growers I hear. I think it might be due to their eating habits. I found them to be lazy hunters but when food is brought to them they are awesome eaters

Nice shot by the way, my fav pic of these guys is straight to see the mustache from left to right

Really nice fish , definately a B.suchus...what's the size , It looks below 6-7''? Definately more suited to aquarium compared to yarrelli , biggest suchus i've heard of is only 50cm.

Yea it's really small, only 4" or so haha!
Checked on his this morning and noticed he has fattened up a bit and that a small feeder fish was missing! =)
