New Bagarius. Rutilus or yarelli??

Just picked this guy up. About 6" was told it was a rutilus. Hard to say if its yarelli or rutilus.what are your thoughts?

Using the old naming convention and what we know of those, this is rutilus.

Awesome. He's in a dedicated tank. High flow high oxygen and 75* I'll have to see how he responds to temp if I need to adjust.

No guarantees but 75 should be fine. As long as you can make sure he feeds, tank mates should not be an issue as long as they are similar sized and not too boisterous. Soon learn a routine if you follow one. Buggers for moving when your not watching.

I'm going to give him say or two to settle then offer silversides or shrimp. Do you think temp is ok or go up or down?

Good news. He found his favorite spot under a rock ledge. I floated few pieces of massivore past him and he darted out a snagged them.
