New Bass fry

i just got a little bass fry at about 1inch, he is in a 10g and is gonna get moved to a 20 long, then my 55g and then once he gets abut 12" i am going to get another 200g to setup as a bass tank with him and a smallmouth. Here is the setup.

Try using salmon eggs and the very small salmon egg hooks. I've caught a lot of 2 inchers this way. It's fun to grow 'em up and then release them into the pond.

One good method I have used to catch some really small bass is use a size 14 hook or smaller. I use a razor to cut a very small thin piece of a plastic worm and put that on the hook. The piece of plastic worm i use is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length and very thin. cast it out as best you can, let it sink a few inches than twitch it towards you. It looks like a little minnow. Just make sure you take the barb off the hook. A barb can do a lot of damage to a small fry....

That bass is a little beast, here is a pic of him eating a killifish. Keep in mind he is 1 inch long.

That's a really big meal! I feed mine half that twice a day. Looks like a happy fish, though. Does he already chase you around and beg? Mine's doing that now.
