new bass

just got a LMB today. about 2.5" He's had a rough day. first the catch, then chillin in a water bottle in a cooler for a hour ride home, then bein dumped in a fishtank with the goldfish from hell....

cant put him in my pond right now cause he'd get eaten. Pics to come. after he settles in.

good to hear yours is eating. i caught 2 and they could barley swallow anything i fed them! i ended up releasing one a little after the other one died. mine had a rough time too, after getting caught, almost getting ate (dog carried it around in its mouth ), then living in a bucket for 2 days, 2 hour ride home with no oxygen, to get put in an uncycled tank.

just curious, whats in the pond?

If you want a little guy, see if there are any fish hatcheries around you. I worked at one here in Ohio and you could get a little one for $1.50 or less.
