New batrochoglanis raninus

So I drove up to my favorite LFS this morning to check out an imported crenicichla they got this week when, while I was paying, the owner mentioned that they got another bumblebee cat. Assuming it was a bufonius, which I would have bought, I was surprised to see a little raninus. I've never had one so I'm pretty excited. Its 2.75" long.

Where are you going to keep it?

Well, it's currently in a bare bottomed 25 bow front sitting on the floor. Definitely not photo worthy. Once we move in June it will go into a 40 breeder.

I can see that. Mine was cruising the tank looking for food and ate a couple pellets I offered. I wish my bufonius was like that!

I dont know if it's because he's new and he was looking for a way out, or if the behavior is normal, but this guy was cruising the tank last night with enough ambient light that I could observe him. This morning he's perched on some driftwood with he head exposed.
