I just picked up a real sweet looking black diamond hybrid and I don't think she's eating. Just started her on prazipro last night. She's pretty active but also hides alot.
Is there anything else I can try to entice her appatite?

If it was just added to the tank and meds added also.. then its ptobably a bit stressed. Id keep lights of for a few days.

More chance with feeding with the lights off.

That's what I'm hoping for. Lights have been off most of the time. She's the only ray in that tank(210) with a L200.

How long have you had her? What are the water params? What foods have your tried? Do you know what she was eating before she got to you?

What made you dose with prazi did you witness any symptoms?( only breathing through one spiracle etc...)

She doesn't look terribly thin I wouldn't do anything drastic.

Had her since Sunday. I tried black worms , night crawlers chopped small, blood worms, and frozen shrimp.
She doesn't seem unhealthy. Very active at times.
I keep her w sand so it's hard to tell. But she seems to swim right over her food without stopping for it
Water parms are great.
I tried prazi because she came from overseas and thought parasites could be the problem

I'll try that too
I'm pretty sure she ate last night. And this morning she went after some massivior? pellets. But then I left for work, so not positive

Thanks everyone
She's been eating great. But only the live black worms. I was hoping to get her on pellets right away, but at least she's eating and seems very healthy
