Picked this guy up last week. Very excited. Been waiting a long time to be in a position to buy a big spot BD, but I found this guy and couldn't resist. He was an Asian import, was told BD x Hen...

A LOT of the big spot BD'S have hen blood in them. Keeps the spots even, round, and symmetrical. Breeding trick used often in Asia/Pacific Islands.

Many breeders would pass this off as a big spot BD. Gorgeous fish. Wonderful pickup.

I concur, myself and several others have felt this way for years and have stated as much. Another prime example is EDs blackie Jack.
