Probably the Poly section
So I picked up a baby- hatchling is maybe more accurate- beardie from a family in my neighborhood who killed off one already and didn't want this one to die too. So since I apparently am the local beardie expert now after they saw my big fatty who seems to think the kitchen is his domain they brought over theirs and begged me to take it. He's all set up properly now- uv light, 103 basking spot, pinhead crickets, fine chopped veggies. I'm wondering If it could possibly be a leatherback. Heres some pics, what do you think? And one just for the heck of it of my almost 8 year old 2 1/2 pound fatty. He is quite the character and goes and sits in his dish when he's hungry

i honestly have no idea. but congrats on the new addition, fatten him up

So far it's eaten about 10 pinheads today. And drank 2 eye droppers of water. Just finished setting up the enclosure. Lookin good and seems to work for the baby. Almost the same setup I used for my first beardie almost 8 years ago so let's hope it works again:)

I'm pretty sure it's an inland lol. You don't see any of the other morphs for sale that often here in the us. I've seen a few rankins for sale and I saw an eastern for sale once but never any others. The more I look at pictures of hatchling leathers the more I'm thinking it might be a
Normal leatherback hatchling.

Very cute hatchling. Definitely leatherback. It's hard to tell the morph before they have their first few sheds, unless you know the parents' genetics of course.

Make sure you don't keep him on sand! (I saw the adult is housed on sand, just want to make sure the hatchling isn't because it's especially risky for the young ones).

Sweet so it's definatly a score for being free with the tank, 2 dome fixtures and lights (10.0 UVB, and 75w basking spot both exo terra). As its getting used to the new surroundings it seems to be coloring up more and more. And I have never had any issues with keeping Beardies on sand. You just feed them in a dish:) im feeding in a seperate container for this baby to be sure it's eating and hand watering with an eyedropper.

Very nice, real cutie. Can't wait to see it looking like your other beardie!

Me either^ I have a bad habit of spoiling my lizards, the old beardie was very spoiled and grew quite fast and is enormous. My dad thought we could keep the little one with the big one. I reminded him that we feed the big one small lizards and rat pups and that ended that thought:P
