This is an ornate, correct? I think he is beautiful. He is in a 55gal with 2 little peacock bass and a small arowana. I can't wait until he is a monster! Any advice with these creatures?

Thank you everyone! Yes we are upgrading but all the kids aren't in the same tank. We have a 150 gal with the 2 small wyckiis, 12" arowana and the RTCxTSN. And the bichir is in a 55 for now with another grey bichir a little bigger than he is. (both about 4"-5") The two small pbass who are about 3" and a small 5" arowana. And the piranha have their own 55 tank. We have the money saved for a 300 gal so all the fish can move up a size but we have to wait until the end of our lease in our 1 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor for that one hehe. Only a couple more months I can't wait!
awesome Ornate!! I'd keep my eye on him with the small pbass even though he is only 4-5" and they are 3" he still might try to take one down... ornates are killers for the most part

Thank you. Yes I looove the tank in the living room. We made it the centerpiece of the wall instead of the TV. My boyfriend stained the stand to make it look like that (it wasn't very attractive before) We don't have cable we only watch movies but we usually find ourselves sitting infront of the tank instead lol. I will watch the bichir with the pbass very closely. For the most part the ornate seems really friendly and the grey one I have had for a while is friendly as well. I've never seen him pick on anyone except when he catches feeders he rams their head against the glass. lol. But I will keep my eyes open and move the pbass if necessary.
