Here is my cute little Lady. I don't know what fin type she is, just that she is cute! She is in a temp 1/2gal until I can get a bigger home ready.

What do you think of her!?!

I'd do her...
LOL just kidding. Awesome Betta! The color gives her a subtle and wild caught look.

Very cute. I have a soft spot for bettas. Its one fish I will always have I can't seem to live with out them. I have one male in a community tank now. I had 8 one time these guys are the fish that got me hooked on the hobby. They are a big fish in a little bodie.

But just to warn you This is not going to be your last you might get hooked bettas can be addictive.

Awwww she's adorable!!!!!! She looks like a veil tail betta. I totaly agree with what snowflake, i have 6 bettas :D THEY'RE THE FISH VERSION OF CHIPS!! You can never have just one!:perv:

Oh, I know that already. I have 4 boys and this one girl. I traded out my Goldfish for Bettas, lol.

Lady's temp home. Cup under the net is bigger than the cup she came from.

Both divided 10 Gals that house Betta fish. Left tank, Lemon & Flame. Right tank, Dragon & Kyle Jr.

This is what Lady's home will look like when I am able to buy a heater and tank.

Ok, I got her yet another temp home. I would say about 4gal or so. And yes, it is a drawer from a fridge. ^.^

that is a beaurtiful fish!

some advice: you will get more, people always do. Females can be aggressive towards each other. If you plan to get a bigger tank do not put just 2 together put a bunch or keep seperate. I had 3 together and the 2 big ones fought and would rip each others fins and and lips got ripped off.

it is better to keep them seperate - i once had 3 males seperated by dividers but one got sick and infected all the rest.

if you need to keep them warm in winter and do not plan on putting them in 1 tank the thing to do is to keep each in seperate containers and put the containers in a bigger tank and fill part way with water and put the heater in the bigger tank.

those small containers are not good to keep them a long time. 1 gallon min. had a friend that had a petco betta that live for about 3 1/2 years in a 2.5g.

^ I would agree with this, a bunch of females is the way to go or else somebody will get killed; it's like african cichlids in that regard.

You planning on breeding them? I tried it once, thought I had it right until Mrs. apparently got tired of Mr. and he ended up dead without a scrap of fin on him.

Everything is as is and will not change. Bettas will live two to a 10g divided. They have heaters.

I do not know what you are talking about, 'small containers'.
