New Bichir!

I just picked this one up from the LFS today. They had it labeled as a retropinnis, but it looked like a polli to me, although I am somewhat new to bichirs.

He/she is about 7", what would you pay for it?

Thanks. I was pretty sure it was a polli. I paid $40. It has a lot of green and nice pattern, looks nicer than the one I got from Rehoboth Aquatics actually.

its green b.c of the substrate when you got it was the substrate dark color?

No, the substrate in the tank at the LFS was somewhat similar in color to my pool filter sand but it was gravel. They had another polli in a tank with red and black gravel and it didnt really have any green, it was just kind of brownish.

could fool me as a retropinnis by those pics... i both have polli´s and retropinnis and i wasnt so sure when i saw those pics.

how many "spikes" (Dorsal spines) does it have?
