I am getting 2 new polypterus bichir to add to my tank which only has a 6 inch brichir. But the only ones they have are 4 inches. Will they be ok in the tank?

What type of bichir are the ones, You have in Your tank?
Are the new ones really Polypterus bichir?
How big is the tank?
What other fish do You have in Your tank?
That all determines, how fast the different bichirs grow, and that might give You a hint, if any of Your bichirs will be eaten by the other ones.
