Bought as a "Gold Dust Bichir" aka Polypterus Palmas Buettikoferi.

It is the correct name. But we refer to them in an informal short version mostly. Like Del instead of Delhezi or Endli instead of Endlicheri. Its just a sort of shortening of the name we like to call that one Butt.

That’s the name.

it's the technical name. Butt is much easier to say
