New Bio-Media i'm trying.

Got this at a pond place.Since pond filters require more media they sell it in bulk.Double check the One liter cost of matrix (and i never bash seachem) and compare that to the 3 kilos (6.6 LBS) of theis media.If anyone has comments or experience on this,feel frre to add.

Never seen that stuff before. I get the China brand bio ceramic rings for $4 a lb. It's way cheaper than the Aquaclear and Rena brand. Test it out and let us know how it works.

Laguna is just another member of the Hagen brand. Personally, I think it is junk, but there are worse things out there.

I have to agree with wyld on this one. I've used this stuff in ponds before and ended up replaceing it after a short time. Bio-media lasts such a long time with proper care that I just can't see trying to save a few cents a pound on it.
