I just bought 2 black aros of 8" + 9" and i tried to put them with my 19" silver but the silver tried to bite one of them severall times and I separate them...
What size do the 2 black aros need to reech before to go back with the silver???
Any advice on how to do it right now???

Thank you

They may never be able to live with the silver, as well as each other. These fish are very difficult to keep in small groups. Your best bet would be do get a couple silver around the same size, and have the four, without the large one in the same tank.

i agree

yeah, pics, please...

I have 4 silvers (around 16" ) together without any problem.

I have 2 blacks (9/10"") together. For them to stop picking at each other I added in a smaller silver...it is working.

Another thing I do to overcome agression of this sort is to leave lights on for 24 to 48 hours ( I know it gives us creeps, I know it does to me, not allowing them to rest )...

After this "lights on" period, usually, the agression is much reduced, not returning to its former strength...

that is my method, ok ( don't do this at home, as the saying goes....)
